Our services

Locus Digital · Software & AI

Software that works the way your business works.

We build websites, mobile apps, customer portals and internal systems that make everyday work easier. Start with a new idea, improve an existing product or replace a process held together by spreadsheets and messages.

What we build

Practical software for customers, teams and operations.

We design around the work people actually do. The result is software your team can understand, use and improve.

When clients call us

This is usually where the conversation begins.

“Our team spends too much time updating spreadsheets.”

“Customers keep calling because they cannot see the status themselves.”

“We have an old system, but replacing everything at once is risky.”

“Our app exists, but users find it difficult.”

“We want to use AI, but do not know where it will help.”

“Different tools hold different versions of the same information.”

What you receive

No black box. No surprise handover.

These are possible outputs. Your proposal will state exactly what is included in the agreed scope.

  • A written scope and delivery plan
  • User journeys and interface designs
  • Working software shown in reviewable stages
  • Testing for the journeys that matter most
  • Source-code and repository access as agreed
  • Deployment and hosting documentation
  • Handover documentation and training as agreed
  • An agreed post-launch support plan

How we work

From conversation to a working release.

A clear plan and agreed responsibilities let you see what is happening at each stage.

Step 01

Understand the work

We speak with the people who use or manage the process and document what happens today.

Step 02

Plan a useful first version

We agree what must be included now, what can wait and how progress will be reviewed.

Step 03

Design and build in stages

You see designs and working software throughout the project, not only at the end.

Step 04

Test, launch and hand over

We test important journeys, prepare the team and complete the agreed documentation and support setup.

Common questions

Before we get started.

Can you improve software we already use?

Often that is the better option. We start by understanding the existing system, what it does well, and where it hurts. From there we recommend targeted improvements, new integrations, or a phased replacement where a rebuild genuinely pays for itself.

Do we need a detailed specification before contacting you?

No. Bring the problem, the workaround, or the idea. Part of our job is turning that into requirements, priorities and a first scope that is small enough to finish and useful enough to matter.

How are price and timing decided?

We assess scope, complexity, integrations and delivery needs with you, then propose a budget and milestones before work begins. If the scope changes, we tell you what it costs before it happens.

Who owns the code?

Ownership, repository access, hosting and third-party licences are stated in the proposal and agreement. For custom client-funded development, the intended ownership and handover terms are clear before work starts.

What happens after launch?

Whatever we agreed in the scope: handover and documentation as standard, plus optional maintenance or an ongoing improvement arrangement if you want us to stay close.
